01 The Swiss Manifesto, 2021 Thesis Project

Touching on themes of national identity, stereotypes and mass tourism,
TheSwiss Manifesto (2021) is an ironic take on Switzerland's visual identity.
Finding its structure in a balanced mix of documentary and fashion oriented photographs, the project invites the viewer to follow the journey of a unique character around the iconic Swiss landscape.

Alejandro Rodorowsky and his films were the point of reference to create the short film we made. The concept was then built on the traces of a director known for being a lover of gambling, the bishop of a cinema steeped in symbolism and mysticism, represented on the big screen through surreal allegories.
